Stone Wang is a Texas native who grew up in Sugar Land, Texas. Mr. Wang attended The University of Texas at Austin where he studied Horn under horn professor Pat Hughes. After graduating with a bachelor's in Music Studies, Stone has since been Assistant Band Director at Walsh Middle School in Round Rock, Texas.

Stone teaching experience includes a diverse range of students and ensembles. Stone has been a part of the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps brass education staff since 2019, and has been a designer and caption head for WGI World-Class finalist, Rhythmic Force Percussion. He is also a regular consultant, choreographer, and adjudicator of the marching arts.

Stone loves being a part of the SASI team, and looks forward to guiding young leaders in band halls across America!
