Linda Mohney is the director of bands at Salyards Middle School located in North-West Houston. A three year high school drum major and a three year DCI drum major at Carolina Crown, Mrs. Mohney has been fortunate to be a part of some great teams and learn along side countless mentors what it truly means to lead. She enjoys constantly looking for new ways to grow as a leader everyday from her students and colleagues.

Linda has been with SASi since 2016 and feels incredibly fortunate to get to spend her summers teaching aspiring young leaders and conductors of all ages. She loves nothing more than getting to introduce beginning musicians to the early ideas of leadership all the way through coaching veteran high school leaders who are looking to help their program reach their next level of success! Mrs. Mohney is looking forward to another incredible year with SASi!

In her spare time Linda enjoys attending electronic music festivals with her fellow band director husband, Ryan and playing with their bearded dragon, Jax.
